The Center for P-16 Research and Collaboration (P-16 Center) at the Indiana University (IU) School of Education in collaboration with various campus and community partners work together to implement the Balfour Scholars Program (BSP). BSP is a comprehensive outreach and wrap-around support program to increase higher education access and success for underrepresented minority students in Indiana.

Balfour Scholars Program Liaisons
A Balfour Scholars Program (BSP) liaison is responsible for facilitating communication between BSP and the liaison's school. The liaisons are an advocate of the BSP and are prepared to:
- Be proactive in sharing any concerns or suggestions that support BSP outreach
- Share relevant BSP information with school constituents
As a BSP liaison, BSP and the P-16 Center is committed to offer the following:
- Facilitate college-going workshops on-site for your students
- Provide up-to-date BSP information
- Serve as IUB campus resource
