The Center for P-16 Research and Collaboration has partnered with Indiana University Title Vi Area Studies Centers on the professional development opportunity for middle and high school social studies teachers. In this workshop, subject-matter specialists from IU Bloomington’s Title VI Area Studies Centers will present content related to the theme of Urban Growth: Examining the Trajectories and Circumstances of Urban Expansion. The presentations will connect the theme with Social Studies Standards for Civics and Government, World History, and Geography and are held at Indiana Education Service Centers.
