Faculty members from Indiana University’s School of Education participate in three workshops during the fall semester. These workshops, led by guest speakers and experts of curriculum internationalization, aim to help faculty participants translate the internationalization principles and instructional practices into their own discipline and content area.
This initiative gives participants resources for internationalization of their courses, enables them to encourage global learning among their students, and gives them a stronger appreciation for the global aspect of the content they teach.
This initiative is currently funded by a grant from the Longview Foundation and in collaboration with Indiana Department of Education and the Title VI Centers (Center for the Study of the Middle East, East Asian Studies Center, Inner Asian and Uralic National Resource Center, and Russian and East European Institute) at IU’s School of Global and International Studies.
